Youth All MTN Team

Grades 4 & 5

Spring, summer, fall sessions with bonus rides, optional trips & summer camps

A step above Elementary Club, for experienced riders who started riding very young and are motivated to progress their skills & fitness on bigger terrain (both uphill and downhill). Optional weekend bonus rides, team travel to events and other activities.

At this age and developmental stage we do not differentiate between XC or Enduro for this group. We ensure all riders have a solid foundation of skills before specializing into a particular type of riding with one of the teams listed below or Cascadia Club for more recreational riding.

Enduro MTB Team

Grades 6 – 12

Spring, summer, fall, winter sessions to improve skills, fitness and travel together to enduro events, trips and camps.

Enduro or other gravity-focused riding & racing all within the structure of a team. This is not a pure-downhill team as we are on trail bikes and must pedal for access. Learn more:

Cross Country MTB Team

Grades 6 – 12

Spring, summer, fall sessions to improve skills, fitness and travel together to cross country mtb events and team camps

Year-round coaching for strength, fitness and xc skills within the structure of a team. These riders want to compete and enjoy learning everything they can about racing XC. Cross-over to the Enduro Race & Cyclocross Teams is encouraged.

Cyclocross Team

Grades 6 – 12

High intensity racing on skinnier tires

For riders age 11+ who want to race cyclocross in the fall, our team offers weekly training, strength training and race support at various local, regional and national events. Begins with a training camp in August and practices in September. Riders under 10 have limits on their racing, talk to us about supporting younger riders.

Performance Coaching

Age 13+

For motivated riders looking to reach their goals.

If you’re not able to join one of the teams listed here but would like to work with our coaches we would love to discuss some options.

Training Camps & Trips

Single or Multi-day adventures, typically age 13+ for overnight trips.

CJC’s training camps are for our competition team riders and other juniors who want to build their knowledge, fitness and skills with our talented coaches. Trips may be to ride somewhere rad or compete in an event. Some examples are:

  • Sea Otter Training Camp (April) for Enduro & XC
  • Cyclocross Training Camp (August)
  • Oakridge Training Camps
  • Day trips to Ochocos, Hood River, Oakridge
  • Team travel to races locally, regionally and for nationals.
