Comprehensive & Compassionate Coaching

Cascadia Junior Cycling’s mission is to provide a comprehensive, compassionate approach to junior cycling development, coaching and mentorship.

Our coaches are passionate about cycling because of how much it positively boosts their own happiness so they are here to provide mentorship and guidance that will encourage young riders to continue with this sport for life.

Movement Quality

Intentional Practice

Proper riding form and strength techniques ensure our riders become more athletic — and move faster & easier, with a reduced chance of overuse injury or plateaus.

Endurance

Endurance

Mental and muscular endurance are foundations within our coaching, ride patterns and training at all levels.

Natural Progression

Natural Progression

Our rides and lessons encourage juniors to learn through play & experimentation; but we also teach the WHY for everything that we do.

Movement Quality

Enjoyment

At the end of the day, nothing we do will have success with the riders unless they have an absolute blast. Once the safety conditions are met, our next goal is to have fun.

Endurance

Teamwork

Every single group that goes out with a coach is a team on a mission that must work together for success.

Natural Progression

Community

We are always considering how to be the best stewards of our community resources, and looking for ways to be engaged. Trail work and Teen Internships are two of the main ways we contribute.
