Our Mission
Our mountain bike camps, clubs and race teams provide young riders incredible opportunities to improve their skills, build fitness and have fun riding with their peers. We excel at connecting junior cyclists who are eager to improve with professional coaches & mentors who are ready to teach and inspire.
Within this positive team environment, our riders develop as individual athletes, teammates & friends.
Our Coaches
We are very proud of our staff, who love to ride and share their knowledge. Leaders are certified through PMBIA; and we require SafeSport, 1st Aid and our own trainings to ensure our riders receive the most professional attention while in our care.
History
Cascadia Junior Cycling launched in September, 2019. The owners of Cog Wild, Lev and Kirin Styrker, formed CJC with Bill Warburton and a talented group of coaches who wanted to create the best environment for juniors to build their skills, have fun and progress their riding to the highest levels. CJC has averaged 200 individual riders and 20 coaches each season ever since.
Location
Cascadia Junior Cycling is part of Cog Wild Bicycle Tours, located at the edge of the Deschutes National Forest at LOGE Camps in Bend, Oregon. Cog Wild & CJC acknowledge that we operate on the traditional territories of many native tribes who have lived in this region since time immemorial and are still here today, including tribes and individuals who are now associated with the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Siletz and Grande Ronde.
