Riding is Bend is great, and so is getting out of our local zone to explore new areas together.
Adventure Rides need 5+ enrollments before the deadline! Any rides that do not happen due to low enrollment will be refunded 100%.
Separate from trips to events or races, each stand-alone full day ride is curated for a specific audience of CJC juniors, parents or public riders to enjoy some epic trails.
Cog Wild’s Adventure Rides are designed for very fit intermediate or expert riders only. Be prepared for a long day on trail: bring a pack with tools for trailside repairs, ample water, first aid kit, charged cell phone, and snacks that work well for you.

- July 18: Crescent Mountain South to South Pyramid Creek Horse Camp
- August 15: Flagline Day! Dutchman Flat Trailhead to Bend
- September 26: Round and Lookout Mountains in the Ochoco National Forest
- October 10: Scotty and Cougar Creek Trails in the Ochoco National Forest
Who can ride?
Cog Wild Adventure Rides are full days on big terrain. Riders must have endurance for 4+ hrs of riding, so we recommend:
- CJC riders 13+ in Enduro / XC / Cascadia Club who can handle a full day ride and want a challenge
- Parents and public adults who ride
$ 95 Adult Rider with transport from Bend:
- Light guide support: route orientation & sweep, ride at your own pace, take help only if you need it.
- All transportation from Bend to the trailheads, shuttles during the day and return to Bend
- Post ride beverages from Deschutes Brewery and Polar Seltzer
$50 for CJC Riders or Adults meeting at the trailhead:
- Light guide support: route orientation & sweep, ride at your own pace, take help if you need it.
- All shuttles during the day
- Post ride beverages from Deschutes Brewery and Polar Seltzer
Not included:
- Bikes: bring your own bike or rent one from Cog Wild.
- Lunch: pack a substantial amount of food for the day.
