Between Todd’s five different bikes, it’s not likely you’ll see him apart from a helmet or at least a pair of bike shoes. He runs with a self-proclaimed “singeltrack mind”, which is quite conducive to Bend living.

A PMBI Level 1 instructor, Reed is a recent transplant from Sun Valley, Idaho with a passion for teaching others how to get the most of their time on the trail. Aside from coaching and riding bicycles, Reed enjoys skiing and riding motorcycles.

Andrea has enjoyed the Bend lifestyle since 2007, and is excited to join the Cog Wild family to share it with others. Aside from riding her bike, she enjoys trail running, skiing, hiking and just hanging out with her dog Luna. She brings over a decade of guiding experience to the Cog Wild crew. Andrea currently works as a nurse at St. Charles Bend.

Born & raised in Tacoma, WA, Randy moved to Bend in 2011 and is excited to join the team at Cog Wild. Randy attended Cal State Long Beach on scholarship for swimming, and competed as a water skier for a number of years. He spends his winters in the Palm Springs area riding in the sunshine and warm weather year round, but loves the warm season here in the PNW.

Paul’s passion for mountain biking is contagious.  He originally began riding in the Bay Area in the 80’s — until he discovered the trails of Central Oregon, where he’s been settled now for over 14 years.  When he’s not riding, he’s, well, talking about riding.

From Denmark, Pia’s lived numerous places in the States. Maui, Boston, Hood River OR, Bellingham WA and Vail CO have all been home before moving here to Bend. She loves the outdoors, the mountains and Oregon. Mountain biking is her favorite activity along with trail running, skiing, surfing and windsurfing. Currently in nursing school, Pia will be working the BC Bike Race medical team this summer.

Rob’s an Oregon native, living in Bend since 1999. He loves the High Desert, photography, outdoor family time, the Oregon Coast and cyclocross. Balancing family life and having a good time in the great outdoors with a career in photography is Rob’s key to happiness.

Debbi Mason

Debbi grew up in Miami and slowly migrated west. She attended Appalachian State in Boone, NC acquiring a minor in Outdoor Recreation Management. After graduating from college, she guided for NOLS before moving to Eureka, CA. to manage a ropes course for CampFire. She met her husband in Breckenridge, CO and moved to Bend in 2007. Debbi enjoys mountain biking, skiing, volleyball and spending time with her two daughters.

Ruben was born near Montreal Canada but has lived in Bend for over a decade.  If not ripping up the trails on his mountain bike he’s in the downhill park at Mt Bachelor or tearing it up on his moto.  He also loves to snowboard and split board the high Cascade powder and stand up paddle surf the Oregon coast, but most of all he loves his wife Lisa, his daughter Lola and his samoyed dog Roxy.

Russ has lived in Bend for the the past seven years, guiding with Cog Wild for the majority of that time. He loves sessioning new bike parks and traveling to new bike areas. Sara is a rare Bend native, having grown up riding and racing her bike here in Central Oregon, Oakridge and the coast. She loves to cook, enjoys the local beers and coaching women’s mountain bike clinics.

Seth grew up in Lancaster PA, then moved to Bend in 2007 to go to college. Over the years he has worked in a bike shop, as a coach, and now as a guide and instructor as well as a trail builder at the Bachelor Bike Park. Off the bike I enjoy cooking, playing ukulele and paddle boarding.

Sue Duerksen lives in Oakridge, Oregon. A keen backcountry adventuress, Sue is a big mountain backcountry skier, a long time mountain biker, yogini, and a civil engineer by trade. Sue loves to spend all day out on her bike exploring the countless trails in the Oakridge area. When not on the trail, you can often find her cooking up something delicious and sipping from a well chosen bottle of wine, getting creative with oil and canvas, or being crafty with her well loved sewing machine.
