Hey friends, what are you doing this Friday evenin Hey friends, what are you doing this Friday evening?Join the Youth Nature Access Fund partners for a family-friendly fundraiser featuring hands-on nature activities, food, and more.Help our community raise funds for nature-based field trips and program scholarships for kids across Central Oregon! Come and see what field trips and outdoor learning are all about, while learning about the Youth Nature Access Fund. Our partners will be offering the following activities:Stream Studies at Tumalo Creek with Upper Deschutes Waterhshed Council Volcano Demonstration with Discover Your Forest Beaver Dam Building with Think Wild Foundations of Nature Journaling with NatureConnect Central Oregon Jaw-some Adaptations with High Desert Museum This event is open to all ages to come and experience how field trips can enhance education and foster an appreciation for the amazing place we live. Kids, teachers, parents, supporters, and nature lovers of all ages are invited!Other Details:Cost: Free! Donations are encouraged. CogWild is the place to rent bikes in Bend! We rented two E-Bikes from them finding service and help outstanding. Each bike was fitted to the rider and everything explained by Kirin. Bike trails were a10 minute ride away all were in excellent condition. We ended putting 26.3 miles of riding in that day. The bikes we rented were Santa Cruz Vala AL 70 E Bike which handled everything that we thru at it from logs 🪵 to rocks 🪨.

Lev was an amazing instructor. He really gave us such peace of mind on the bikes. We learned all about positioning, climbing, correct postures, how to navigate going over rocks, etc. He was thorough and very knowledgeable. It was our first time ever mountain biking and we felt like we were in great hands by having a guide help us.
