Peterson Ridge
Enjoy great mountain biking right outside of Sisters. If you are staying in Black Butte Ranch or in Sisters, this tour starts almost at your front door. The trail winds along the edge of the ridge with views right into the Three Sisters Wilderness. From one overlook, it seems like you can reach out and touch North, Middle and South Sisters mountains.
Fun trails with bridges and water crossings will delight young and old.
Cog Wild will pick you up at Black Butte or in Sisters, or meet in the Sisters city park.
A short van shuttle brings us to the top of the ridge. The trail rolls through Ponderosa and Lodgepole pine along the lave crest known as Peterson ridge. Make sure to ask your guide for a group shot with the three sisters mountains as a backdrop. This tour is great for families with kids who are ready for a good adventure ride. The ride ends in the Sisters town park.
