Cascade Lakes Loop
Wind though alpine and sub-alpine forests, passing numerous lakes in the Cascade Lakes region. Our ride will bring us over challenging climbs and swooping loamy descents while being surrounded by breathtaking views of snow-capped volcanic mountains. This tour of 18½ to 25 miles will be customized for your riding level to include a loop or point-to-point route. Swimming is an option in many of the lakes!

Head high into the Cascade Mountains for an unforgettable biking experience. The tour starts at Little Cultus lake at 4300 feet. The 18½ mile loop brings you past Lemish lake, Charlton Lake and has an optional out and back to Lily lake. High Alpine singletrack flows through open meadows, dense lodgeploe forests and towering hemlock stands. A few steep, power climbs will warm you up perfectly for a dip in Charlton lake at the midway point. test your technical riding skills on some of the most sustained root sections found on any trail. The trail returns to Little Cultus Lake for a final swim before heading back to Bend.

Terrain This loop will include climbing to a high alpine lake followed by fast and flowing downhill ALL the way back to the start of the loop - huge rewards!! There are sections of technical terrain, but mainly fast flowing singletrack perfect for climbing and amazing descents. This all takes place under moss dripping trees and high desert forests.
Meeting Time and Place 9:00am at our office or local hotel. We will shuttle to the trail and back to town afterwards.
