Bike & Brew Weekend

Come enjoy the best that Bend has to offer: mountain biking and beer! Spend your days riding fabulous trails and your evenings at three of Bend’s favorite breweries: Deschutes Brewery, Bend Brewing Company and Cascade Lakes Brewing Company. Your accommodations for the weekend are at the Phoenix Inn, stumbling distance from all breweries in downtown Bend. This tour has been called the Best of Bend for a good reason - ride amazing trails and enjoy top notch microbeer brews!

Tour Details
Friday: Our tour starts right after checking into the hotel in Bend. After our initial meet and greet, you will have time to change for our afternoon ride on your guide’s favorite local trails. We will then visit Deschutes Brewery’s brewing location for beer tasting and a special tour. Afterwards you will be returned to the hotel and given gift certificates for dinner at Deschutes Brewery’s infamous brew pub. Try classics like Mirror Pond Ale and Black Butte Porter or the night’s specials in cask condition or on nitro.
Mileage: 15-30 miles
Alcohol Percentage: 4.5-6.8%

Saturday: Today our ride will wind though alpine and sub-alpine forests high in the Cascade Mountains. Lunch will be enjoyed by a beautiful, secluded lake perfect for swimming. You’ll be awed by views of snow capped volcanic mountains as you sweat over challenging climbs and swoop down loamy descents. Beer tasting will follow at Bend Brewing Company, your second introduction to Bend’s diverse microbreweries. Stay and use your gift certificate for dinner or return later in the evening. Bend Brewing Company is known for their Big Eddy Bitter, High Desert Hefeweizen and other seasonal handcrafted selections.

Sunday: Our ride starts high in the Cascade Mountains and ends 3000 feet lower back in Bend. We will enjoy views of the Three Sisters Wilderness, as we ride downhill through Hemlock and Pine forests, over streams and through alpine meadows on smooth, flowing singletrack. Our tour will conclude back at Cog Wild's sunny deck where we will enjoy more local handcrafted brews from Cascade Lakes Brewing Company, 10 Barrel Brewing Co, Silver Moon Brewing & Boneyard Brewery. After our tastings & last hurrays we return to the hotel to say our good-byes.
Mileage: 26-35 miles
Alcohol Percentage: 0-6.3%

Note: Each day's mountain biking route can vary depending on feedback from you, the rider. With hundreds of miles of trail to choose from we exercise the right to change up our routes to ensure you have the best vacation possible. We can also split into groups if the rider level varies throughout the group so those who want technical and/or punishing can get it while others get a frolick through the woods.
