Team Building

Are you looking for unique and fun team building activities? Cog Wild has the answer! We have designed a special team building bike game that can be played many different ways. No matter what you choose, you are sure to build team spirit while having fun in the beautiful outdoors!
Groups work together to fulfill a mission with maps, activities and checkpoints. Each adventure concludes with an awards ceremony and some fun Cog Awards. Logo t-shirts and a gourmet picnic lunch are available to complete the team building experience.

Cog Wild can also change the adventure for hiking enthusiasts.

Game Details

The Team Building Adventure can take place at a variety of locations around Sunriver & Bend. The participants will be broken up into teams and asked to come up with a team name. Each team will be given a list of clues and a map of the course. Checkpoints have been designed so that a small amount of route planning is necessary as they are not all on the same trail. The adventure has been designed to take 2 hours or less to complete and will require all team members to participate.

Game Options

Poker Challenge – each checkpoint has an envelope with one playing card for each team. Along the course are two bonus checkpoints with envelopes as well. Each team has a chance to collect 7 playing cards. Once all teams are back, teams open their envelopes and play a hand of poker.  Word Scramble – each checkpoint has one letter of a word that once each team has been to all checkpoints, they can unscramble the letters to form the word. This word can be relevant to the company or group. The final and most important letter (or letters) will be given at the finish. Active Challenge – each checkpoint has challenges. There will be two challenges to choose from – one easy and one more difficult. Every team has a digital camera and must take a picture of at least one team member doing the challenge as required. Challenges can include riding their mountain bike over a certain technical aspect near-by on the trail or making a human pyramid.

To decide the winning team, points will be awarded for:

First team to finish the course Best Team Name Poker Challenge: Best poker hand Word Scramble: Fastest time in unscrambling the word Active Challenge: One point for every easy challenge completed & two points for the more difficult challenge with only one challenge at each checkpoint allowed Optional: Obstacle bike course with easy challenges aimed at having fun.

Rules

Teams have to go to each checkpoint. One point will be subtracted for each checkpoint not visited. Teams must stay together.

Cost Per Person

$85 plus a customary 15% guide gratuity will be added to each team building adventure.

What is Included

A customized itinerary developed specifically for guest’s interests. A professional crew of knowledgeable and encouraging local leaders, with an 8 to 1 guest to leader ratio. Mountain Bikes (at least front suspension) with 27-speeds, and bike helmets will be delivered and picked up at your site. Van support including cellular phones, First Aid and full repair facilities. Unlimited bottled water, energy bars, fruit and snacks.
