005 Marin Mt Vision Full suspension MTB. (15.5 inch, small)
This bike is in great condition and has just had a full overhaul tune up.
This is the perfect XC mountain bike with 4 inches on front and rear
suspension. It weighs between 24.5 and 25.5 depending on tires. It is
very, very light. Friends can’t believe how light it is. It has been
professionally maintained since I bought it and ridden very mellow. I
love to climb and am a pretty mellow downhill rider.
Here are the details.
Frame: Black anodized 15.5 frame: has one small dent on top tube from bike rack(cosmetic only)
Fork: Fox Float 100 RL: Just had oil and seals replaced
Shock: Fox RP3 propedal.: Just had a full factory overhaul, all new internals.
Brakes: Avid Juciy 7 with 6 inch rotors: Pads and Rotors less than 10 rides on them.
Seat: WTB speed she bought at the end of last season.
Drive train: Just replaced all three chain ring (XT) and rear
cassette (XT) and chain (shram PC-99). The bike has a new 2008 XT rear
derailleur, XT shifters and front derailleur.
Wheels: WTB lazer lite. Rear wheel hub was just rebuilt. Rims and spokes checked and true’d
Rims: Mavic 223 Disk rims
Handlebar: Eatson monkey lite.
Seatpost: FSA carbon or Gravity dropper 3inch adjustable seatpost. If
you are not familiar with Gravity Dropper seat posts, they have a
handlebar lever to lower your seat for steep sections and are awesome!
You should want it. But if you do not want the Gravity Dropper, we will
put the FSA carbon seatpost on that came with the bike.
I am asking $1200 for the complete bike (no pedals) including the
gravity dropper. Without the gravity dropper and with the FSA carbon
seatpost is $1000.
The bar ends also do not come with the bike, so new grips will be needed.
The ONLY reason I am selling this bike is because I work in the
bike industry and everyone I work with will not let me ride an “older”
model anymore. Otherwise I would ride this bike for years to come. It
is a great bike and lots of fun to ride.
